Your Contributions Make the Difference!
Thank you for considering a donation to the Haitian Centers Council, Inc.! Every dollar donated can help improve the lives and future of individuals, families as well as children, especially for those infected/affected by HIV/AIDS.
Your generosity helps us deliver an array of effective and sensitive services. It also provides the energy that fuels our clients’ hope for a brighter future while educating the community in how to protect itself reasonably from the pandemic of HIV/AIDS. Whether you choose to make a gift as a one-time donation, an honorary gift, or a bequest, your contribution will help make a difference.
You can make donations at any time. If you wish, your gift can be earmarked to support a particular program or provide monies for developing a new program or initiative. If you prefer to make an unrestricted contribution, please be assured it will be placed prudently, where the greatest need exists.
Honorary Gift
The Honorary Gift is another generous and thoughtful gesture to recognize a person’s accomplishments or to commemorate a special occasion like a birthday or a holiday.
To make an honorary/memorial gift, please send a letter indicating the purpose of the gift, as well as the name and address of the honoree. For memorial gifts, if a memorial fund has not been established, you should note somewhere on your check the name of the honoree, as well as the address of the appropriate contact person.
Bequests
A bequest in your will is a meaningful legacy you can provide for your favorite charity, as well as family and friends. Your bequest to the Haitian Centers Council helps insure that the generous work you supported during your lifetime will continue. Naming the Haitian Centers Council, Inc. as a beneficiary of your will can, when properly planned, reduce the rate at which your estate is taxed. You can make a charitable bequest of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or the remainder of your estate after planning to care for your family and friends.
Donations made to the Haitian Centers Council are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and are welcomed at any time of the year. Please know that your contribution is appreciated and does make a difference regardless of the amount given.
